What kind of game is this?
Dream Job: President is a choice-driven sim where you live one person's political life from start to finish. Pick your background and leanings, enter politics at 25, and watch each year's activities and choices add up to your approval and reputation. Win an election and you climb a rung; lose and you wait for your next shot. The story carries on into retirement and your epitaph, and at the very end history decides how it will remember you.
How it plays

One choice a year
Each year you pick one thing to do: local outreach, policy study, TV and social media, party work, fundraising or rest. It shifts your Speech, Policy, Network and Media skills, plus your Fame, Approval and Party Trust.

An event every year
From the usual confirmation-hearing allegations to national crises, something comes up every year. Every option shows its odds of working, and in make-or-break moments like speeches, debates and site visits you settle it yourself in a minigame.

From nomination to vote count
Choose the seat to run for, get through the nomination and the primary, plan your campaign, survive the TV debate, then watch the results come in on the vote-count broadcast.

Sweet, dirty money
Temptations that help right now pile up as hidden flaws, and one day they come back as allegation stories and investigations.
Offices you can reach
- City Councilor
- Provincial Councilor
- Lawmaker
- Governor
- President
General Elections and Local Elections come every 4 years, and the Presidential Election every 5. If you're denied the nomination, you can still run as an Independent.
In the History Books
After you leave politics, history judges you by the record you left behind. You can save the result as a single Life Card and share it with friends.

Looking for a political simulation game?
This is not a government sim where you run a whole country from a spreadsheet. It follows one politician's life: a 25-year-old scrambling for a city council nomination who climbs, election by election, to Lawmaker, Governor and President, and everything that choice and luck cost along the way. Instead of diplomacy and economy tables, you live the scenes: the nomination fight, the campaign trail, the TV debate, the vote-count broadcast, the allegation story.
It is a free web game that runs in your browser with nothing to install, and the same screen works on your phone. An Android app is on Google Play and an iPhone app is on the way. A run takes 15 to 30 minutes, short enough to finish a whole life on your commute. Every party, person and event is fictional, and the game takes no side.

FAQ
- Is it free?
- Yes. You can play for free right in your browser, with no sign-up and no install.
- Are real politicians or parties in the game?
- No. Every party, person and event in the game, including the Dawn Party, the Sturdy Party and the Middle Party, is fictional. The game takes no side, and the same events happen no matter who is in power. You can stay moderate or go all the way to either extreme, and left and right follow exactly the same rules.
- How long does a run take?
- Usually 15–30 minutes. Auto-play's '⏩ Skip to next election' fast-forwards you to just before the year of your next election.
- Is my progress saved?
- Yes. It saves automatically every year in the browser you're using, so you can close the window and pick up where you left off.
- Can the game play itself?
- Yes. Turn on Auto-play and the game picks your activities and event choices for you as it moves along. Big events and elections go by slowly, and you can tap the window at any point to choose for yourself.
- Does it work on phones?
- Yes. It runs in any browser on phones, tablets and PCs, and if you add it to your home screen you can use it like an app.
- Is there an app?
- Yes. The Android app is on Google Play. Its save is separate from your web save. An iPhone app is in the works, and the web version isn't going anywhere.
